Samsung S26 and its bigger version S26 + is now out and I can say that I’m pretty much impressed by what they added and improved. Galaxy AI is better and it comes with some useful features which will come in hand when you get it. And a secret feature that Samsung added which we must talk about it.

BODY & DISPLAY
The S26 and S26+ comes in different thicknesses, weights and screen sizes. For the S26, it has a 7.2mm thickness and weighs about 167g while the S26+ has a thickness of 7.3mm and weighs 190g. Screen size for the S26 is 6.3” and 6.7” for S26+. They both have the same colours; Cobalt Violet, Sky Blue, Black and White, and the exclusive colours; Silver Shadow & Pink Gold which is available only on the Samsung website.
Now, let’s get into the secret. Samsung built a wonderful system under the screen which helps promote privacy. The privacy display which is a new feature allows users to be able to block others from looking at their phones when they are in a public space. When turned on, notifications and specific apps can be hidden as well as the whole screen. This makes only the user who is head-on to the screen to see everything.
CAMERA
Cameras are the same for both phones. For the back, there is a 12MP Ultra-wide, 50MP Wide and 10MP Telephoto and also a 12MP front Selfie Camera. These helps you capture breathtaking shots during the day and night, and quality videos as well.
OS & PROCESSOR
Both are powered with the latest chip from Snapdragon, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for fast processing of data, playing games and more. The OS is Android 16 One UI 8.5 which has a beautiful user-friendly interface. Galaxy AI also runs with the OS to make tasks like messaging and editing of photos easier.
STORAGE
For both phones, there are only 2 storage options available; 256GB 12GB RAM & 512GB 12GB RAM for storing a large number of your files.
PRICE
The S26 has a 4300mAh battery that can be charged to 55% within the space of 30mins and the S26+ has a 4900mAh battery that can be charged to 69% in 30mins. Prices vary for both phones. For the S26, it starts at $899.99 and $1,099.99 for the S26+.
