DISPLAY & DESIGN
Let’s start with the display. The iPhone 17 Pro has a 6.3-inch screen with a resolution of 2622 by 1206 pixels. It hits an impressive 3000 nits peak brightness, so no matter how sunny it is outside, you’ll still see every detail. And of course, it’s got a 120Hz refresh rate for super smooth scrolling and gaming.
Now, design-wise, Apple has gone with Ceramic Shield 2 glass on the front and a choice of aluminum alloy or glass back with Ceramic Shield. The phone weighs 206 grams, giving it a premium feel without being too heavy.
Apple decided to raise the bar a little bit at the back for the camera and the flashlight. They decided to make a little modification which they call a plateau. And we have been told that’s where most of the components are hidden to make way for the battery and the cooling system made into the phone. The vapor chamber cooling system deionized water moves heat away from the powerful chip, keeping performance steady even when gaming or multitasking.
